iCorNet Laboratories is engaged in the research and development of a "tailor-made cardiac shape correction net for dilated cardiomyopathy" (hereinafter referred to as "cardiac support net").
This page describes Cardiac Support Net and its clinical trials.
history
History of Cardiac Net Development
Cardiac Support Net is a product that shows promise as an effective means of treatment for sudden dilated cardiomyopathy ("dilated cardiomyopathy") other than medication, assisted artificial heart or heart transplant surgery. By covering the heart with a highly elastic net, it aims to slow the progression of cardiac dilatation.
Although previous studies have shown the effectiveness of the "net-wrapping the heart" treatment, the fact that it interferes with the function of the right ventricle has been problematic.
OUTLINE
Cardiac Support Net FAB
CorNet Laboratories' Cardiac Support Net overcomes the problems of conventional cardiac nets with its unique shape that covers only the left ventricle.
In cooperation with the UT-Heart Research Institute, which boasts the world's highest level of technology, we have achieved long-term durability through a tailor-made method tailored to the patient and a completely seamless adaptation that eliminates the risk of fraying over time.
